Almost all of my services are real property deeds, uncontested divorce and notary public. If you are in need of a service that I do not offer, this page lists some resources.

If you need a recommendation for an attorney, you are welcome to contact me. You can also contact the Monterey County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service.

If you need to hire a Legal Document Assistant who offers services that I do not provide, you can find one at the California Association of Legal Document Assistants www.calda.org. Only LDAs who are registered and bonded may be members. Click the "FIND AN LDA" link on the website. You can search by County as well as the type of service that you need. Some LDAs are able to work remotely, so if you find an LDA who is not in your geographical area, you still might be able to find one to work with through email and other electronic methods.

Courthouses throughout California have Self-Help Centers for assistance with filling out court forms as well as offering sample forms and guides. Contact your local courthouse for more information.

If you need assistance with filing court documents on paper or electronically that you have prepared yourself or if you need to obtain copies of filed court documents from a courthouse, there are courier services who provide this service on a daily basis. They can also record documents, such as deeds, with the County Recorder. I only file court documents that I prepare and record deeds with the County Recorder that I prepare. Laurie Urquidi with As Quick as a Wink Process Server and Eviction service delivers legal documents such as summons and complaint for civil cases, summons and petition for divorces, Small Claims documents, subpoenas and other court documents. I no longer prepare documents related to restraining orders such as for domestic violence and harassment. If you need assistance with this type of situation, contact your local courthouse for forms and resources.
